    Awesome vest

    This vest was WAY BETTER than I expected at this price point! good, heavy leather . the inside lining/pockets/zippers/etc are all super heavy duty/high quality again, just NOT what I expected for this price Shipping was insanley fast.and the Customer Service person was real good on email, helping me with sizing info I ordered a XL, which was tiny tiny bit too big, but I redid the side laces a bits to bring it in a bit all and all, definitely recommended!

    Lets Talk Size - Part 2

    Originally ordered a 9x. My Chest size is 58. I ordered a size too big (9x) on purpose, thinking the extra room for a hoodie would be a perfect fit. Hmm, still, too big and it showed. Without the hoodie i could hide 4 chihuahuas (2 on each side of my chest easily)
    Sent back the 9x (at my cost, $12. Taken off my refund, grrrr, already paid shipping the first time) ordered a 8x vest. MUCH better fit. Now, only one Chihuahua on each side of my chest. Putting a hoodie under the vest or without a hoodie, GREAT fit. Length is good, im 5ft 10. Comfortable under the arms. Why they measure so wHeird is beyond me. Normal USA sizes would be 5xl maximum, not 8xl.
    Sturdy metal snaps, thick leather, lots of pockets. Stitching is strong and straight. Liner on the inside isnt thick by any means, but its not meant to do anything but keep the leather from skin or clothing. Weight is about 3lbs

    Lets Talk Sizing

    For men: I have a 58 inch chest, stand 5ft 10. Stomach is about the same size as chest. I ordered a 9xl (64 in) for room to breathe KNOWING i was buying a zip up thermal hoodie to wear under it. IF i wasnt going to wear a thermal hoodie under it i would definitely return it. IF you are not wanting to wear a hoodie etc under it, definitely do NOT go with a 9xl if your measurements are with in 2.5 inches of mine. With out the hoodie i swim in it. Even WITH the thermal hoodie, i couldve gone with a 8xl. Without a thermal hoodie, a 7xl (59in chest) hopefully this helps others trying to figure out how close to REAL people sizing Event Leather is sizing at least this vest.
    As for the quality? AWESOME! weighs about 3lbs. Real leather, solid metal snaps, good stitching, all the pockets are hole free. Good price for good quality. I would definitely buy again, on a smaller size though for MY purposes.
    Leather Up sent it out same day, arrived in Wyoming 4 days later.
