Cortech ‘The Slayer’ Mens Black Casual Street Style Suede with Leather High-Top Riding Shoe

I like the looks of these boots and the fit is good. They are quite sturdy around ankle. Even though they are stiff and need a little breaking in, they are quite comfortable. Biggest gripe is the toe leather. After only 2 rides, the left toe leather is peeling where it meets the shifter rubber. It seems like a surface thing, the black is scraped off, revealing a grey surface underneath. The toe leather (is it really leather?) is still solid and firm. It's almost like there is a black coating on the toe that easily wears off. I like the boot enough to keep it and just put some black shoe dye on the toe. These aren't dress boots. We'll see how the toe hold up in the long run.
