The new style and construcof my old 'Venture' (6 years old, passed on to my Stepson still looking new) is fantastic. Three layers, really wareproof and still light weight. As we have moved to South Georgia will get more use than Northwest Texas. As always excellent from Xelemenent and Leatherup!
Ordered one through Amazon because shipping was quicker. This is a very cumbersome jacket. There are way to many steps required to remove and install liners. The cell phone pocket is very small will put any new smart phone in it. It is not a summer jacket for the south way to heavy with no liners in it. No fault of Leather Up I guess but it came all wadded up in a plastic bag with staples in it. I am not buying second hand stuff.
Great jacket. Good price.
6'2' 210lbs with long arms. I got the XL. Sleeves come just to my wrists at the tops of my gloves. Acceptable. With all of the liners in, I can wear 2 sweatshirts comfortably. While I do ride in the rain occasionally, I got this jacket for the rain liner to have a windproof aspect when it gets cooler. Works great for that. Unknown so far with regards to keeping me dry. As others have stated, this is a heavy jacket. At least as heavy as my lined leather jacket. Not a bad thing at all for me. Overall quality seems good. Cleaning the outer mesh may be time consuming. Already have a dandy bug collection going. Doubt I'll machine wash it. don't want it to snag on the agitator. Prompt processing/shipping, comfortable, appearant decent quality. If this lasts at least 2 years with my high usage, I'd up it to 5 stars. No regrets yet.

It runs a little small bit still fits

Although pockets can be nice, the whole point of a mesh jacket is to provide airflow. the whole front of the jacket is covered with pocket material that blocks the air. The back armor seems really short and small compared to other jackets I have that are smaller size. I bought a x-large because most large fit tight and are too short, I am 6 foot 210lbs. The length is perfect but it is pretty big on me, I could put on two sweatshirts with the liner in and still have room. Too bad they don't have a large-tall, that i would still have to cut the pockets out of.
