I bought this trunk bag and can bag combo. Other bikers in our trip had to put wood inserts in their bags to keep them upright without sagging. WE DIDN'T :). The bag has a hard-plastic membrane (probably removable0 that runs down one side, across the bottom, and up the other. We had IT AND the Can Bag FULL - PACKED and it didn't sag. It goes on with velcro in about ten seconds and we have a short-backrest (not even a tall one). You undo the velcro on the backrest - and lift the thing right off the bike. In fact - you put the strap on the can bag, throw that over your shoulder, and there's a handle right in the top of the trunk bag - you just lift it. Easy! Came with a rain-fly and we got caught in a DOWN POUR and luckily brought it. I know its man-made materials, but we threw the rain fly on anyway. Why not. It also has a "cinch" string at the bottom with push-button tension controls. I LOVE this thing. You'd have to be a contender for brain surgery to spend twice as much elsewhere. ALSO - people actually COMPLIMENTED us on it and we sent them to the site after they were dumbfounded as to how little it costs.

bag is bigger than it looks on the web site. Good construction looks like it will last. Great leather look. It should also keep water out but comes with a rain cover.

I got these for my boyfriend and he loves them. We used them for our ride to Canada and they took it all and looked great the whole time, even after driving in the rain. I was worried as the description only say velcro closure and the picture looks like it too. The leather belts on the trunk do have quick release buckles so I was pleasantly surprised. I agree retie or double tie the tassels on the conchos, they get loose and some of the tassels ripped off when just trying to tighten to snug, so may need to replace them soon but still so worth the value.

I USE THIS SET DAILY, WILL PUT ABOUT THREE HUNDRED MILES A WEEK ON THEM. SO FAR THEY ARE STURDY AND TOUGH. I LIKE THE PVC. I RECOMEND TO RETIE OR DOUBLE TIE THE TASSELS ON THE CONCHOS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE BAGS.

I bought this combo to supplement my ROADGLIDEs hard gear on solo long rides. But on a recent 3 day run on my SPORTY, I opted to load it up and test run it. WOW! These bags are OUTSTANDING ! Loaded the big bag the same way I load a 35 liter backpack for camping, little difference. Just looks so much better on the bike then a BP. The roll bag worked perfectly for my bivyroll. I did replace the tassels with black round boot laces for durability reasons, still looks great. Tested waterproofing when I hosed the bike down to get the layer of backroad dirt off. Water resistant is the operative word. Short of a deluge, it will keep contents dry with the rain fly. I think this rig is worth much more than what I paid. Rode with a hard bitten, long in the tooth crew, and they all complemented my choice in gear(very rare). I am certain you will be getting a half dozen or so new orders from these old boys. Shipping was right on time, well boxed. Thanks.

This is my third purchase from Leather Up recently, and as usual the quality of the product exceeds what I expected, especially for the price I paid. I have a 9" sissy bar on my bike and it only caches part of the top strap, added a couple of tie downs and it works great. Great price, good product, Leather Up has very fast shipping. I really like both bags. Thanks Leather Up David from Dallas Texas

I ordered this bag for my son. When it got here I was so impressed that I bought one for myself and one for my brother. My friend then ordered the same bag but the next size up. This bag is heavy and durable. I just went to the Baltimore Bike Show and nothing there compared to it. There are plenty of rings to attach it to wherever on your bike. The heavy duty straps on the back make it very easy to attach to a wide varity of back supports. Great product.

I have a short sissy bar on my Harley Sportster. From the top of the luggage rack to the top of the sissy bar is 9 inches. Olny about one inch of the top velcro strap touches the very top of the sissy bar. This bag will not work on Harley Sportster short sissy bars. I kept the barrel part because I was able to attach it to the short sissy bar. Sold the big bag to a friend. Nice rig but it just does not fit.

1st bag I received was damaged and Leather Up helped out and replaced. GREAT support and service. I originally ordered the LLarger bag but was replaced with this one. LOTS of room, some may think a bit bulky but for long trips will carry plenty. The mounting straps are secure (big thick velcro) but you have to really work to get it tight otherwise the bag slides around. Overall great bag and again customer service was outstanding.

The bag is great, just like all the other reviews say. I have a narrow luggage rack and plan to stiffen the bottom of the bag for that reason. Hard to beat it. It looks great and it functions well. I've yet to take it on a long trip, but short ones have proved positive.

Great Tour pack for the price. Took the main bag on a 3day trip and it held up great. This thing has tons of room! Me and the wife packed way more than needed for a 3 day trip and still had some room. I would prefer it if the bag had zippered or clipped closures on all the compartments. The main cargo area, the barrel bag, and all of the side pockets are velcro only. The main bag does have a thin plastic liner for support on the bottom and 2 sides. I did notice that once the bag was strapped down that the bottom of the bag would sag on the sides of the luggage rack a little. Maybe a stronger base liner would be nice too. Overall it is a very good bag for the price.

Mounted on the back-rest - luggage rack very easy. Just returned from a Texas Hill Country trip. Carried everything we needed and then some. Easy mount, easy access, easy to dis-mount and carry. Wife loved it, thats really all that matters! Top quality at a great price.

These bags are exactly what I wanted and expected. Lots of room, easy to install on and remove from bike. I ride a H-D Heritage Classic and while the stud spacing is a little wider than the factory bags, these bags look great on the bike. The velcro staps on both bags are suffient but I use a couple extra bungie cords for stablity and put the round bag in front of the sissy bar pad and the big bag behind. This keeps the load low and allows me to get into the big bag easily when it's on the bike. Rain cover won't fit over bags when istalled that way, but a couple of bungy cords will allow me to cover bags by putting rain cover over the top. Have taken on e trip to date, wish I'd had these all summer long.

Bags performed as promised. My only complaint would be that the attachment straps for the backrest are placed just a little too high on the bag for my motorcycle. The top strap (the larger one) barely touched the top of the backrest so when it was loaded with travel gear, the bag didn't seem too secure on the luggage rack. I added two bungee cords that I wrapped around the top of the bag and under the luggage rack to hold it more firmly. I had no problems at all on the road and had more than enough room for all of my stuff and my wife's stuff (and I didn't even use the smaller barrel bag this time) A good value for the money and I am happy to have bought it.

Exceeded my expectations, in size and quality. They look great on my Kaw900 Classic LT. Studs matched the stock ones that came with the saddlebags on the bike. Glad I didn't order the Large version of this set. They are the perfect size for a mid size cruiser. If you have a larger machine, you will still like this size....but will like the large version, too, I'll bet. Construction quality is excellent, these should last many years. They arrived sooner than I expected, double boxed, well protected. LeatherUp service was great. I'll be a return customer.

I strapped this on the bike the week after I bought it to head out to Delmarva Bike Week. It was raining when I pulled out of the garage. Everything in the bags stayed dry. This is a great sized bag... it held three days worth of clothee and toiletries with no problem and room to spare. This is also a GREAT looking bag. I saw a lot of bags at Bike Week that cost 2-3 times more and were not nearly as nice. Don't be put off by the low price or fact that they are not real leather. Thsse are great quality bags at an INCREDIBLE price. Leatherup.com service was great.... I received the bags in just 3 days pachaged very nicely.

This is a great item, very well constructed, incredibly fast shipping time - ordered Monday night, received Thursday afternoon - but it is much larger than expected. I can actually get away with just using the roll portion to hold most of what I need, since I don't do any long distance trips, but for anyone going away on their bike, this make a very handy suitcase!

I also like the accessibility of the smaller compartments for on the road quickly needed items. It is a very nice product for the price.

My rating is on the product alone. Very nice looking and veratile as for usage. Now I am a little disappointed because it doesn't fit my bike because of the size of sissy bar. I will have to spend more money to custom fit them. Now back to LEATHERUP, I like it enough to make it fit. So there you go.

We just took this on an overnighter. It has lots of room, so much that we didn't take the top bag. I never could figure out a way to use the y strap is comes with so I had to buy two straps to attach it to the frame. The top bag has a very small flap and opening, which makes it almost impossible to fit my mens jacket with armor padding through the opening. Overall we are please with the quality and design, especially for the bottom bag.

I received my touring pack and promptly installed it on my Honda VTX1300 with a high Corbra Sissy Bar. I do not have a luggage rack installed so I took a leather strap with buckle and attached it to the top D-ring on the rear center of the lower bag. I then ran it around the large velcro strap and buckled it. I drive 200 miles communiting to and from work and this bag holds everything I need; laptop, rain gear, jacket, paperwork etc with more than enough room. I am really impressed with the pack for the price. Thanks Leatherup it is just what I needed and I look forward to a road trip away from work soon.... The pack is LARGE and I am very satisfied.

This thing was way bigger than it looks in the pictures. Very well made and mounts easily with velcro straps that wrap around the sissy bar. I only use the top roll bag. It will hold a jacket and a lot of small items. The large bag will hold 2!! helmets, with room on top of them for clothes or other gear. I haven't gone on a trip with the whole set-up but it would defineatly carry a couple days clothes and other necessary gear. Thanks, Leather-up for the great product at a great price

I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the box to see exactly what I had purchased. This touring pack will make my Sportster look like a Heritage Softail. I have a low sissy bar but it fits on it good and for safety, I run bungee's. This is another fine example of what this company is all about. Thanks again Leather Up.

When I received the bags, I was surprised at the size. I usually use the barrel bag for everyday and cannot wait to pack the full set. The sizes are larger then I thought and would recommend them to anyone. I usuall have too pack for two and found that there is ample room. Have received a number of comments on the apperance and style. For the price and style a super purchase.

Two really big thumbs up for this travel luggage. I have a Harley Heritage Softail Classic with back rest and five bar chrome rear fender rack. This package fits perfectly on the rack. What I really like is that you can use one or the other, or both! Lots of room and with the belts and velcro makes it easy on or off. Did I mention the price? Other places list is as high as $249!!!! Buy one today if it fits your style, and you won't be disappointed.

I like the bags. They have enough room for a weekend getaway for 2 and seem to be well worth the money. Just make sure the conchos are tied properly as mine were just barely hanging on. I'm rating 4 stars due to owning for just a short time and don't know the life expectancy yet.

The best on-line purchase I have ever made! Fits my FLSTC like it was made for it especially. Great quality and looks. Holds more than everything I need. ALL my purchases on-line will be from leatherup.com from now on. Gary, South Carolina.

love it. perfect for a weekend ride or longer. the only thing we didn't like were the main buckles in front. You have to make sure they are belted or they would be easy to lose.

I am looking forward to using this bag on a trip from St. Pete Fl to St. Augustine Fl in a couple of weeks. The bags seem big enough for my wife and myself to pack a two day trip with ample room to spre. Good quality construction.

I absolutely love it. I bought this for my husband. He liked it so much he could not hardly wait to put them on the bike. They look better in person then in the picture. Thank You so much.

This thing is amazing. A ton of room for storage and it's firm enough to stand upright without a thing in it. The rain cover is a nice addition. Great value too.

Good looking set of bags, fits nicely on my Vulcan 900 Classic LT, perfect for this spring and traveling to the outer banks. Would recomend to anyone that wants the classic motorcycle look. This touring pack matched my studded saddle bags perfectly. Looks as good if not better than the picture on the internet.

If you need any bigger bag on your bike, you are trying to pack too much! This set of bags is very big and qaulity utility are as advertised. The bags are strong and have many mounting points. My only negative comment is that the "shoe laces" provided to help secure the bags are a waste. Adding a few more of the adjustable straps would make this package perfect. An excellent value for the money! As for LeatherUp, I am a repeat (x4 now) customer and have suggested this web site to family & many friends - that says it all. Thank you!

Overall, this is a great value for the money. The bags look nice, seem durable, and have all the straps needed to secure them to the bike. But be warned the bags are big and have plenty of storage for a weeks worth of gear. In fact they ended up being too big for a weekend trip. Also, the opening of hte barrel bag is a bit small. Together with the round shape, it is difficult to put a lot of stuff into the barrel bag. For the price, however, it's definitely a good deal.

Just received it. It seems to be well made for traveling and has some good mounting straps which came with it. Recommend for a rugged, nice looking bike bag. It is a roomy bag as well.

For the most part I am happy with the bag. one complaint, some of the metal pieces were rusted when it arrived. The good... very large, easily holds helmet and leathers. You will need a luggage rack if you want it to be very stable. Also will need a medium to tall sissy bar.

Received in a very timely manner. Have not used the large bag yet but I use the barrel bag everyday, it is much easier and quicker than the leather bags on my Heritage. Highly recommend. Sam

Very nice sized bag combo. Works great on outside of the sissy bar or on the inside and used as a back rest. I'm always happy with leatherup.com's items

Received our pack in short time and called when we discovered rust on some of the rings. The problem was taken care of immediately and we got our new one very quickly. The pack is well made and has a quality look to it that surprised us. It's very sturdy and has so much room that we haven't filled it up yet. The barrel is great for short daily trips. We would buy from LeatherUp again without question.

Nobody could believe what I paid for this bag. So, I added $100 and they STILL think I got a good deal. I've already taken it on a few trips and very impressed with how much it holds, it's sturdiness, and great looks.

It really is EXTRA LARGE! Awesome value. Rigid. Durable. Easy on-off. THIS DOES HAVE QUICK-RELEASE BUCKLES! My tall travel coffee mugs fit in the side pockets. I will be using this to tour from San Diego through New Mexico in a couple of weeks. Not too heavy. The opening on the roll bag is little bigger than a big mail slot, but I use it to carry school books and stuff to-from class.

Great quality, we are very happy with this purchase. We priced these same bags @ a mall in Albuquerque, and they were sold separately, totaling $135. We will definately be ordering other items from Leathup in the near future. Robert and Doris in Belen

I used my touring bag for first time on trip to motorcycle rally in Chillocothe, OH. My bike set out in one of the heaviest storms of the summer for approx. 90 minutes ( no overpass handy) and clothes in touring bag got just slightly damp. The identical bags were being sold at the rally for $20 more than I spent. One suggestion, check the knots on the leather ties for the conchos. All but one of the conchos on my bag had blown off during the 5 hour ride. Also, I found by bag was secured better if I replaced the tie down strings supplied with bungee cords.

WOW!!! Order received in plenty of time for trip, FedEx Ground is AWESOME! If you need a tour pak, this is it, I actually made my husband take mine off, and give me this one!!!! LOVE IT!!!! I can pack, and pack, and pack some more!! I actually had tons of room for a 5 day trip, and even had room for my on the road purchases to come home with! Great quality, didn't sag or drag my fender, rain cover works, too! Way to go LeatherUp, will never shop anywhere else for my gear!!!!!

Well satisfied with the bag especially for the price. Used it on a 1000 mile trip and had rain. Holds a lot of stuff and looks great with my Heritage Springer bags, conchos, and studs. A few recommendations -- The large velcro strap should be about 6 inches longer. I have large passenger back rest and could use a little more grip. Come up with a better method to secure the straps than "shoe lace" ties. The buckles on the main bag need improvement. If you use the quick disconnects the buckles fall off the straps since the strap only passes thru the buckle once (different than the product pictures). Some of the D-rings had rust when I received the bag. Bag does a fair job of keeping stuff dry but you should use the rain fly to be sure. All this is not as bad as it sounds. I would recommend the product, just need a little more attention to detail. I'm please with everything I've bought from Leatherup.

This has been one of the most enjoyable purchases I have ever made online. The bag is excellent quality for the price and looks great on the back of my 1300 V-Star. The only problem I have had with the bag is that I forgot about the bottom mounting strap and tried to pull it off without removing the velcro. Needless to say, I partially ripped the stiching. It was totally my fault though. The bag is huge and can easily fit enough stuff for a three or four day trip for two people. I ordered the bag on a Wednesday and it was delivered the following Monday. If I didn't live in a rural community, which has no Saturday FedEx deliveries, I would have received it on Saturday, as it arrived at our local FedEx on Friday afternoon. I will definitely be ordering from this company again!

Wow! I just received my bag yesterday and I will tell you that it is much larger than I thought it was going to be. This bag is so large that I do not think I will even need the barrel unless I am off for a 3 day weekend or so. I am very satisfied with the quality and it makes a very nice addition to my bike. Whether just shopping in town for groceries or hitting the road, this is definitely a great bag for the price. My local motorcycle shop could not even come close.
