| I really like the jacket, though I took the advice of others and ordered one size larger than I usually wear...bad move. I waited too long to send it back, so maybe I'll grow into it! The leather is top notch, the quality is great, and the looks can't be beat. One caution. I don't think it will be good in the winter solely because of the mesh sleeves, which are extremely comfortable in 60 degrees. |

| i own many jackets from leather up' they are some of the best leather jackets i i have ever had' the defiant jacket' is also a great. looking coat as well as a good protector for your body.besides my wife thinks i look cool in it.
what more can you ask then that. great leathers. plus a wife you thinks you look cool. that in itself is worth. the great price. so buy something for your wife or girlfriend and yourself. stay cool' |

| This jacket is very well made at any price. I wear a 46 and ordered the XL and it fits nicely. It is heavier than I thought it would be which is a plus for protection. The collar is a bit tight for me as I have an 18" neck but I found that it can be folded over. Very pleased with my purchase and plan to order more products from LeatherUp. |

| This is a great jacket. I ordered one and received it in no time and to my surprise it is very heavy. also has a nice removable liner and the leather is top grade. i read all the reviews on this product and was thinking of going one size larger but I'm glad I didn't. its a perfect fit and looks great too. I normally wear a 3x but ordered the 4 x as recommended it fits snug only b/c i'm bigger in the middle than in the chest but the leather is fogiving. This jacet breathes well. in the cold weather you will need something under it for you arms. That is the only thing i dont like is that the arm vents dont close completely. |

| Over all I like the jacket. My only issue with it is that the wrist cuffs are really large. I had to rework the the lower sleeve to close it up some so it fits the way I want it to fit. Over all a great jacket, looks great, fits well and is very comfortable. |

| I wear a size 40 sports coat. I ordered the medium jacket since it was for sizes 38-40. After ordering I was concerned that I might have ordered a size too small. The jacket actually fits like a glove. I am very pleased. If I wore a lot of heavy clothes under the jacket the larger size would have been appropriate, but since I just wear a shirt the jacket is just right. I have been riding in temperatures in the low to mid 90's and have been very cool with the jacket on. I purchased the jacket to wear during the warmer months of the year. When I stop my bike the jacket does get a little hot, but while riding it provides the protection I was looking for as well as being comfortable to wear in the hot weather. It also looks very nice. The delievery of the jacket was actually sooner than I expected. If I had it to do all over again I would still order the medium size and would order it from LeatherUp. |

| Third time is the charm! But this jacket was well worth the effort! I wear 2XL normally, and took the advice to order one up - MISTAKE! This jacket is plenty big - the sleeves are extra long to keep you covered even when reaching for the the grips! I moved back to 2XL, but found that to be too big on my 6' 250lb frame, too! My XL fits great - looks great - and is perfect for this Idaho spring!

| Great jacket! But I had to return the first "2" because I had ordered them too big! Yep too big. I am 6! and have a 32' waiste, 170lbs. I finally had to get a Medium so the waiste would fit tight enough. Shoulders and Arms were still a good fit though. Returns were a breeze and no hassels. Just quick service. I will be making more purchases here in the future. Already got the gloves and they are great too. |

| I initially ordered 1 size up like the reviews said. When the jacket arrived it was WAY too big. Had to return it and am waiting for the new jacket - excellent return policy, very easy and quick. Beware ordering a size larger, it seems I should have ordered by the sizing chart. Otherwise, the jacket was of excellent quality, very heavy and beautiful craftmanship. Comfortable with the liner. I'm 6'0" 245lbs 52" measurement, ordered the 4X initially returned for 3X. Would definitely reccommend. |

| Great jacket, though I must contest ealier reviews. Several recommended ordering a size up. Bad Move! I recommend some physical training for these fellows. I am 5'10" 165lbs, 45" at the shoulders, 30" at the waist. By the size chart I should have been in a Medium. I took their advice and ordered a large. After returning that one, I exchanged for a Medium. Still swimming in that one, I returned for a Small. Right on.
I rode to the Space Shuttle launch in Port Canaveral last night in 70 degree weather. Perfect. Ventilation caused by the mesh allowed provided comfort when on the move.
Please note: This is a riding jacket. Sleeves run a little long to accommodate riding posture, and narrow significantly at the end of the sleeve to prevent "ballooning" when on the roll. Zippers are easy to handle even with gloves on, and are rugged in design. Shoulders are broad, which makes some of the oversized full-faced helmets look less obtrusive (large.)
Very satisfied, now that I have one that fits. BTW- Exchange process was executed flawlessly, though ground shipping methods took a little long. I placed my original order in mid-September. Just got my replacement jacket 11.12.08.

| I've gotten 2 other jackets from here that were XL, and they fit fine, this one was huge. I'm 5'9" and 180lbs. So you might want to consider that. Also I sent it back for an exchange 2 weeks ago and it was delivered to them. I've had no luck finding out the status of my order, customer service is non-existent. I've tried 4 or 5 times, get no response, so good luck there. |

| This jacket is *Awesome* for warm weather riding. I already have a heavy,
warm, leather jacket, and bought this one specifically to wear during the
summer. When it arrived, I was surprised at how heavy it was. It was so
heavy, I was worried it'd be as hot as the jacket I already owned. My
concerns were unfounded. The airflow through this jacket is so good, it
almost feels like you're not wearing a jacket at all. It is extremely
comfortable for riding on those hot, sunny, summer days - even when you're stopped at a light, or stuck in traffic.
The quality & workmanship appear to be outstanding. I have no doubt the
jacket will hold up well over the years.
As for fit, I noticed other reviews suggest ordering a size larger. I went
right off the size chart and ordered, and the fit is excellent. I had my
wife measure my chest, which is 43". The large is 40"-42", the XL is
44"-46", so I went with the XL (figuring I might also wear something
underneath when it gets cooler) . |

| I originally ordered this in XL based on some of the other reviews to order one size up. I was swimming in it. I then ordered a large, which still fits a little loose, but it was acceptable. The quality and airflow are both great. Even on extremely hot days I can wear this jacket without breaking a sweat as long as I keep moving. |

| Ifyou want a great looking jacket for half the price of most other jackets this is it, one of the best mid weight leathers you can buy the size was right on 2XL I weight lift and have big shoulders and this jackt fits perfectly. I reccomend this jacket to anyone looking for a nice looking, great fitting jacket. AL Sosna 45 years young |

| A very nice looking jacket with many fine features. A good design for those of us living in warmer climates who might otherwise ride without wearing any jacket at all. The only problem that I encountered related to sizing. I faithfully used the Size Chart and ordered an XL (which is also the size of other jackets that I wear). When the Defiant with Mesh arrived, I could barely get my arms into the sleeves and the waist was very tight when the jacket was zipped up. So I spent the $9 to return it, requesting the next larger size. I received an XXL. Chest and arms fit well now, but I guess they assume that if your arms are not skinny, then your belly must be fat. I like the jacket enough to re-stich the velcro on the side tabs that will allow the jacket to be cinched a bit more at the waist, but while the jacket is very nicely made, the sizing is a bit less than perfect. All in all, however, the jacket is a keeper. |

| I love this jacket! The quality and comfort are excellent. My only complaints are that I have a pretty large neck 17 and only a 31" waist so I had to order a medium which has a smaller neck so I can't button it without feeling like I'm being chocked. Also, this jacket is definitely not for winter use. it's mesh arms allow the wind to come right through. Excellent for anytime other than winter. |

| Excellent fit, great looks but definitely a summer jacket. The service was really good. Better than a local could do! Its the second jacket I have purchased from LeatherUp. Great price - the same thing would cost $500 or so here.

| This jacket is perfect fit, I got it in 3 business days. It looks real sharp when I'm wearing it. Air flows through the mesh on the arms which lets it breath. I wear 3XL and you always take a chance when you get in the larger sizes with mail order but this fits me perfect. |

| I bought this jacket for my Husband, the jacket is great. Just perfect for spring or fall weather, with the mesh on the sleeves it lets the air in so it realy won't work for a more colder climate. We were so pleased with it we kept it and ordered the new advanced armored jacket for colder day's. They are both great! |
