The helmet looks great - if only the sizing chart were correct! I am EXACTLY 61mm (size xl) and have to return the helmet as too tight, and I can't even pull it down to touch the inside of the top. Looks like a beehive hairdo. Also, IF I had used the hat size (7-3/8), I would have ordered ANOTHER size smaller than this one, so I don't get those reviews that say it fit perfectly! Be prepared to spend shipping one-way to replace yours. I would have given 5 stars otherwise, I believe.

I like it. No mushroom-head look like most half helmets (plus its still DOT approved). I actually have heard a lot of compliments about it. I do recommend GETTING A SIZE LARGER than you normally wear. I returned my first one because I could barely squeeze it onto my head. The only negative is the strap is somewhat simple with no snap, so it tends to flap (I loop it back thru to keep it tucked to prevent that). Overall I'm really happy with the look and comfort now that I have the larger size.

This is a nice helmet. It fits me just right. I bought a large and wear a 7 3/8 long oval cowboy hat. I like the snug fit. There are two things worith mentioning as less than wonderful. First thing is the padding, which does not completely cover the inside. It gets hot in Texas and I am concerned that the glue holding the pads will let go over time. Second thing is the straps are workable, but I will need to put a quick disconnect on it to wear the helmet on a bike without a windshield. For the money, this is a great carbon figer helmet.

Measurment came out to the largest size in medium 58 centimeter so I went with a large after reading some of the reviews. I was not sorry the Helmet fits perfectly and its just what I wanted! I was able to replace my other low profle Helmit at a fraction of the cost with all the quality and its DOT. I would recomend this Helmet to a friend.

BEST HELMET I've ever had, period! I had taken to wearing a 3/4 lid because I hated the mushroom look as others here have said and I have kids. So, I want a real helmet. Now, I won't tell you that it is as low profile as a novelty lid, but it's REALLY REALLY close. I can now hear my stereo again and not look like a total tool! Also know that I bought this lid because my buddy had it and I couldn't believe that it was DOT approved. However, he had an XXL as he likes to wear a hat underneath. His is truely as thin as a novelty. So, it's one shell with different levels of padding. Smaller you go, more mushroom effect it seems. I wear a Med, bought the LG based on the reviews here, but could have worn the Med it seems!

I was looking for a helmet I could store in my Harley Streetglide saddlebag when I'm off the bike. Stock SG bags are narrow, and most helmets won't go in there. Just received this helmet, and it does, so that need is met. On the helmet itself, I read the reviews claiming the size chart is inaccurate and buyers should order one size larger than usual. I considered that it would be pretty unwise for a company to make that kind of mistake, and trusted the chart and bought my normal XL size. If anything, after it wears in some, the helmet might be a bit too loose. I think the size issues people have had are more related to head shapes than the chart. Heads aren't all the same shape, and some helmets in the correct size still won't fit well. I say go with the chart; it's about as accurate as any size chart will be. The straps are pretty minimal, but the whole reason we buy half helmets is for their "minimalist" features, so I expected that. All in all, I think it's a reasonable value, and once it airs out and loses some of the odd creosote smell, I think it'll work out fine.
