Bought for my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. I road through a 15 rain storm at about 50 MPH, evan without the rain covers on the inside stayed dry. My seat unlocks with the key and after I installed these under the seat I was almost unable to get my seat unlocked. I had to put shims under the posts on the seat so the lock was not as hard to open. Becasue of the price and the material they are made of I am very happy with these and would recommend them.

| These saddlebags are excellent in EVERY respect. Forget leather bags! Given exposure to sun, rain, and heat they rot out in under two years.
These bags are far superior. And at this price you can't go wrong.
I've had my bags for just over two years now and they look and
perform as new. Given the performance of these bags, don't think
I'll ever need another set. But IF I do I'll never go back to leather.

I have been using the bags since March 2011. It's now 4 months and about 3,000 miles later. The bags have performed flawlessly and as expected. Easy to adjust to the mounting points on my bike (2009 HD Night Train {Softtail family}). Would certainly recommend again. I carry a variety of items with no problems. The items do tend to get warm to the touch on the exhaust side especially, but nothing that isn't manageable with a towel for insulation if so desired. I regularly fit my rain suit, half-helmet, gloves and some spare socks in one side alone. Plenty of room for a weekend or daytrip ride for two.

So far so good.. I have had them only 3 weeks. They are great for what i need them for BUT.. I did have 1 problem it down poured and the bags leaked from the bottom up. Other than that the bags are great. I would recommend these to any one.. Just remeber to watch the heavy down pours ..

Can't beat them for the price--very well made...nice little zipper cubby in each...they're a great inexpensive way to add some luggage capacity to your ride.

Seems to be a good set, I keep thinking the velcro flaps will give up and scatter all my stuff on the road but it hasn't and shouldn't. Doesn't come with instructions so I just threw em over the back seat and tied them down without bag supports or anything. Works just fine for my 07 Honda Shadow Aero.
