| Although I measured first, I still wasn't positive these would actually fit on my 2006 HD XL1200 Custom once they arrived. The only drawback I have is, I replaced the shoe strings with small spring clips, feeling that should I take the bags off, the clips would work better. Other than that, I've had only one chance to ride the bike since I've had them; they carry my thermos and coffee mug with a lot of room left over, I rolled my jacket up and put it into the other side as well and didn't need to find a fat person to sit on the lid so I could strap it down like I had to on my last bike which only had shoe-box sized bags and wouldn't carry anything more than one burnt cigarette butt and a small pile of ash. I can see myself actually being able to use these! Thanks. |

| INCREDIBLE ! I mean I can't believe the quality and looks of these bags. They really need a better picture of this set because I ordered this set with hesitation thinking the single closure strap looked a bit faggy. As soon as I opened the box I was impressed. These bags have the same leather look of the Harley 'soft look/hard feel' bags on my friends roadking. The lid closes snug withe snaps and easy click closure. The body of the bag is very firm with a hard plastic form along the width to keep it in shape. The zippers are concealed under a flap, and it will take seconds to remove from bike if used as luggage after road trip. No B.S., Thank you leatherup |

| Pros: These are the best priced large bags I could find. Construction is good quality. They fit my magna fine using brackets i fabricated that keep them off the exhaust. I was also hesitant about the single clip (looks wise) but it makes access faster and holds shut just fine so now I'm glad I got them. They're a little bigger than the measurements suggest - you can fit an 18 pack of cans and still have a little room left over.
Cons: Openings to the bags are a bit small and make access more difficult than it could be. The front and rear panels end in flaps that cover the entry to the bag even with the top of the bag open. I'm going to trim them back. Be advised the PVC is very heavy duty - the double thickness of the saddle straps is a tight fit under the seat.
I've been a loyal customer of leatherup for a couple years now - and they continue to thrash the competition... |

| I'm amazed - seriously! Ordered my bags on a Monday, requested standard shipping and it was at my house that Wednesday! Bags are beautiful . . . I was really impressed with their size and quality. I just put them on last night so I haven't had time to ride with them and really experience them, but so far I'm pleased. If I were to complain about anything it would be that the main front wall of the bag where it buckles - that area seems to cave in a little - like it needs an inner support the way the sides have. I don't know if it will be a problem, we'll see. Love the quick release buckles, love the zip off feature and the box lid to keep the rain out. Like I said, just impressed! This is my 3rd purchase from LeatherUp and it won't be my last! |

| If your looking for something to get you buy until you can afford $400.00 saddle bags these are great. The style fits my Dyna Super Glyde perfectly and they mounted easly onto my Ghost Brackets. They are durable and have plenty of room. |

| This product is an exteremely excellent value for the price! I wasn't sure what to expect at first, as I thought it be cheap material, wouldn't look good or fit well on my Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 2000 Cruiser. I took measurements before I ordered the bags to get an idea how it would fir on my bike and when I received the delivery, which came quick also, I looked them over and to my amazement, I couldn,t stop laughing at how great they looked on the bike! Just a few adjustments to clear the height above the exhuast pipes and I was amazed at the look, it was as if the bags came as stock equipment with the bike, matched up great with the leather look of the seats. The zip off mounts are a great idea and the bag capacity can fit a half helmet in either bag (or equivalent of 2 siz packs (cans) in each, more than any HD hard case bags and still have room for other necessary items. I was almost embarrassed to tell my biker friends how much I paid as any other bags like this would be a hell of a lot more. I thought I wouldn't get these bags on time as I was going to Americade in Lake George, NY and placed the order about a month before I was going on my trip and the bags were sold out at that time. Leatherup.com came through for me by emailing me when the new shipment came in and I got them in time for my trip which made it all the more worthwhile. If you have any questions about this product you can email me at livitup4u@gmail.com and I'll be happy to tell you my experience with this product. I love it and I can't see why you wouldn't either, Enjoy the ride and keep Cruisin! |

| I gave these bags 4 stars but only because they are inexpensive and seen durable..plus the overall design looks great on my 05 Dyna. Let me say that I have bought many items from leatherup and have been extremely happy with all of my purchases. This one I was not as happy about when the arrived. The pictures shown do not show the handles on the tops of the bags...and these bags have handles...some people may like them...I don't. I like a more sleek and uncluttered look. Also there is no plastic key and locks on the clips like there are on the other 3 sets of saddlebags I've gotten from leatherup. I assumed the would lock since all the others did. I recomend these bags to anyone who wants handles on top and doesn't mind that they don't lock..but buyers beware if you don't like those 2 issues. I almost hate giving a negative review since I've had great luck with all of my past purchases...but just wanted to give people a heads up on these saddlebags. I actually just ordered a $140.00 leather jacket from leatherup so I am not trashing the company...I'm still a faithful customer. Leatherup rules!! |
