These saddlebags are great. Lots of room. Solid construction. Very stiff. They are a little big for my Honda 250, but I can adjust them and make them work.

Very nice saddlebags. Fit very well and look good on my Yamaha VStar 1300. The place where I bought my bike wanted in excess of $500 for saddlebags. I am glad that I did not purchase them - saved my self $450. I would recommend these saddlebags

You can't beat them for the money Fits my 2003 Sportster to the T without any hardware .Great product and value. I gave them some neatsfoot oil to protect the leather from the elements and loosen them up.

Couldn't afford, or at least couldn't justify, the $300 bags I wanted so decided upon these $50 bags as a tempory measure until the economy improves. The bags arrived and I was pleasantly surprised! I won't be replacing them as planned. They will probably last longer than the motorcycle. Please note that you must use saddlebag gaurds to keep them out of the running gear of a H-D Softail, but they fit perfectly and match the style of a H-D Softail Deluxe.

Let's start with what they got right. These saddlebags are leather, and they look good. Would I recommend them? Yes, but with a few remarks. The leather is VERY stiff. That could be either good or bad, and I'm not prepared to pass judgement just yet. Stiffness is a great feature when talking about the body of the bags, but I suspect it may not be too great for the straps long term. Either way, I'd suggest hitting them with some leather conditioner immediately after receiving them. Another important thing to note is that the black dye used on them transfers to everything. Don't pack anything in them you don't mind turn black unless you put it inside something else first. So, had I paid $500 for these I would be very upset. Having paid only $50, my expectations weren't high, and they were well met. I think its a great deal.

These bags are an excellent value for the price! The bags are plenty big enough and fit my Yamaha 1100 Custom exactly. The design is good and what I expected, the leather is thick and a little stiff. Treating with mink oil will take care of that. The only minor nit-pick I have is that the hold-down ties on the wheel-side of the bags are a little lacking - two ties per bag would be better. If either break, I will add a thicker tie or add an aditional tie per bag. Bottom line: I would definately recommend these bags!

These bags look great! They are stiff but adjustable. I thought they were going to be too big for my 450 Nighthawk but they fit perfectly. I had to cut holes in them to run them under my seat but the leather is so strong that I'm not worried at all about them ripping. I love Leatherup.com just bought a jacket recently that was too large. Leatherup.com has great customer service. If your items aren't right for you you can exchange them.

| The bags have been returned as has the helmet. The bags were of nice quality, however, they were to large for my bike. I would have kept the helmet but when I took the package back to the carrier I was told, if it was to return, I had to send everything. I have not received my refund as of today (2-9-08).
Thanks, Bob |

This is a first rate product with nice heavy weight leather and fine fit, and at a very good price. It will look great on my new red Harley Sportster. I can't wait for spring to show them off.
