| I have had the helmet for a few weeks, riding off-road,backroads, city streets and the highway, and, I must admit, I am very, very happy with my choice.
The helmet fits snugly, but not too tight (so sizing is good), and it is very stable on road or off. The venting is very good, does not steam up. I used a friend's helmet before buying my own, and the shield would always steam up when I stopped, not so with the Hawk!!! Another great feature of this helmet is the dual visors (many of the more expensive helmets don't have dual visors) Also, The face flips up easily, and even the padding for the helmet straps is soft and comfortable (unlike the other helmet I used b4, which would irritate my skin and cause itchiness).
Of course, I like the look of the helmet too, nice clean design, and the price just can't be beat, especially for the features.
Thank you Leatherup.com!!! Great product!!! Great Price!!! |

| This helmet is very comfortable and quiter than my fullface helmet. It's almost as cool as my shorty helmet and the dual visor is great when riding into a Florida sunset. |

| I like it! For right at $100, I got a DOT approved helmet with some nice features. The face flips up so the guards can see my face to let me on base, the shades flip down for sunny days, it has good vents and good padding that snaps out for cleaning. And, best of all, an XL fits my big fat face snugly but comfortably. Did I mention the shade? IMO, it's really cool. |

| This helmet is great. It has all the features I need and is much cooler than you would think. I have been riding with it for about 2 weeks in very hot weather, 95-103 in Oklahoma, and it is still comfortable. |

| Just got and wore my new Hawk helmet---backroads and freeway. Wow---this helmet does not shake or move in strong wind---it has easy and usable clear and sun shields---the fit is soft and sn og but not tight----I would put this helmet up against all the $500 helmets any time. Great piece of work---would highly recommend it to real riders!! |

| I have been riding with this helmit for 3 weeks and all I can say is I love it, it works as advertised and the sun shade is a very nice addition. Venting is great and the cushions and helmet fit perfectly. I highly recommend this helmet as a very good buy. |

| Better in almost all ways than the lower priced Hawk Modular. True size fit, well vented, positive Visor close, easy sun shade up and down, doesn't fog in any conditions so far, and comfortable and quiet in the wind. An excellent choice for your main helmet without spending $500. |

| Bought this for my husband, who was not satisfied with the last two helmets. This one is great and fits him well. The sun visor is great especially since he wears glasses. There is plenty of room for his glasses as well has his headphones for his MP3 player. |

| I've been using this helmet for several weeks now and here are my findings.
Pros:
- Fits great. The sizing chart is spot on.
- The padding is comfortable. There is ample room around the ears.
- The interior visor is a great feature. The tint is nice and dark for those sunny days. The visual distortions were minimal.
- Airflow was good when moving.
- Modular flip-up design very convenient.
Cons:
- There is wind noise on the left side caused by the switch that raises and lowers the interior visor.
- If not moving the clear visor tends to fog. Cracking the visor open usually cleared it up. |

| Good fit and easy to operate. Might be a touch smaller than stated size. Moved up from a medium to a large and felt much better. |

| Five star hands down; all star in my book, everything I wanted; all around good looking, sleek, great vents and adjustable, half mask mode and flip visor with those awesome built in flip down shades, though it's rather hard to flip the modular portion up with one hand; probably a good idea though, doen't want it to be too easy or might fail at an unfortunate time. |

| I just bought this helmet & really love it! It is my first flip-up, modular helmet & really enjoy it so far. It is a bit noisy, but not too bad. The sun shade visor comes in handy in moving from a sunny to shady place, such as we have a lot on country roads here in Alabama. The fit is nice. I was between sizes & went with the smaller, which is fine. The service was also exceptional. Thanks a lot. |

| Wow! I was impressed with this helmet! The fit is great. The detail was well done and comparable to helmets costing much more! The dual visor works flawlessly. I will never be with out it now! I can not praise this helmet enough! A great product for a great price! Buy it! Do not let the cheap price put you off! I will have to have another soon! Delivery was quick and well packed! |

| This is the most comfortable and convenient helmet I've ever worn and I've tried on all the most expensive with little luck as I always find the fit too snug front to back on even the XXL, but this one fit great with minor mods to the liner and the features can't be beat at any price, plus it looks way cool... |

| I really like this helmet. Comfy, quiet, the interior drop down sun shield is a real winner. No problem operating all features with padded gloves. I no longer use a windshiled in cool weather. |

| I've ridden with this helmet for a few weeks in Nov/Dec in New England. It took a little breaking in but it's really comfortable now. All of the features are great! Flip down sun visor, air vents (the top air vent works really well), and the modular design help if you wear glasses, like me. I wish it weighed 3 lbs, but I guess you can't have everything. I compared it to the HJC Symax 2 but if you put one of those on, you'll realize that (1) the tint isn't all that tinted and (2) the sun visor doesn't go down enough... My only complaint is the weight but all modulars are a little heavier. |

| So far, so good! We bought our helmets for the cool, damp weather of December and they have worked wonderfully at keeping us warm and dry. I have learned to use a "gaitor" on my neck to keep it warm, but the helmet is a bargain! |

| One of the best helment I've owned. The helment is quite both with the vents open and with them closed. The Chin Bar and the sun visor are both easy to operate. The inner sun visor is great because when it is not in use it is stored out of sight. It has an easy, one left hand operation for when you come out of the sun into a shaded area such as a tunnel or parking garage and back down when you enter the bright sun light. If you wear glasses it is easy to put the helment on or take it off when the chin bar is raised. The outer visor will also stay where it is placed even while riding at High Way Speeds. |

| This is the first full face helmet I have had and it sure is different. It gives you full face protection and the view is good through the face shields. This helmet is everthing you said it was and more. Always a good experience when you deal with LeatherUp. Thanks Stan Alexander |

| the helmet is priced right. the sunvisor is very nice all helmets should have that feature. the wind noise is a bit loud but what can you expect for the price.i modified the sealing of the visor to lessen the noise . padding is good and the helmut itself is light wieght. i wish they offered more colors and graphic designs. |

| Although I've only used this helmet for only two weeks I am extremely pleased with the appearance, and comfortable fit. All of the advertised features make it an outstanding buy. The sun shade is especially appreciated as I am commuting directly into the morning sun during peak traffic period and frequently need to get the shade into position or off quickly. Enthusiastically recommend it as an outstanding value. I'll predict that it will become your favorite in short order. |

| My first full face or modular. Has features of a more expensive lid. Very comfortable. Tinted inner visor is excellent idea, works great. I might give it a 5 star if I was more familiar with other ful face/modulars. I really like it. |

| Very nice and snug fitting helmet. Comfortable padding is just right so you don't feel jammed in. Absolutely LOVE the flip down visor. This was main criteria when I was looking. I had tried a Zamp dual visor unit and it went back, (too cramped, wind noise was high and operating the flip down visor was difficult). Not so on this Hawk system. The only real complaint I high is the release button being on the outside of the chin guard and sometimes is difficult to get it to release, an under the edge button would have been better.
I had also purchased one of these for my wife and she found it to be very heavy for herself. It does feel somewhat heaver than the Zamp and my previous full face. To me the weight is not a problem, in fact it actually helps to keep your head from bouncing around in the wind.
We are considering sending it back for a medium as it was a tad loose on her. I would to see the manufacturers list the weight of helmets.
We also looking at one of the other Modular Hawks here, but without the flip down visor and a shorter front to back measurment
Overall this is a very nice helmet and for the price of $100 bucks makes it a super buy. |
