| Excellent Jacket for the Summer months.. Recently completed a 2 day 500 mile tour from Albany Ny to Rutland VT ( Day 1) and from Rutland Vt to Bennington and back to Albany (Day 2). I spent most of the ride on RT 30 in VT average speed limit 45 mph........The jacket was very comfortable and allowed plenty of air flow.....the temperature both days was in the lower 90's and it was very humid.......however the only time I was overheated was when stopped at a long red light.....as soon as I got moving the airflow through the jacket cooled me right down..........The jacket is well made and fits true to size......I highly reccomend this jacket to anyone that wishes to ride with protection and wants to stay cool in the hot summer riding weather.......the price to quality factor on this jacket is excellent |

| This jacket is just what I wanted. It's been in the 90's here and the jacket is great with the liner removed. I did wear it on a cool morning after a rain with the liner and it was perfect. I feel comfortable and protected. Plus, it looks really good on me. You just can't beat LeatherUp's prices, quality and fast shipping. |

| This jacket has been excellent in warmer weather. I find the airflow to be great. The padding is lightweight and the total jacket feels like wearing a long sleeve t-shirt. The black color does heat up when stopped, but moving at any speed starts the air flowing again. This jacket definitely makes riding in temps ranging from 80-100 much more comfortable. The padding gives an extra sense of protection. It is also easy to pack into a pack or saddlebag when leaving the bike. I highly recommend this product for warm weather riding. |

| I bought this for my guy to wear during the intense heat here in GA. He LOVES it - it won't keep you very cool when you are standing still.. but it is really nice when you are flying down the highway and MUCH cooler than his leather counterpart he wears during the colder season here... all two weeks of it! PS - he looks as sexy in this jacket as he does in his all leather jacket! |

| i'm a longtime LeatherUp buyer. their quality far surpasses their low prices, and this jacket is fantastic for warm weather riding. as other reviewers have said, it keeps you cool as long as you're moving, even at low speeds, but you'll feel the heat shortly after you stop (and you can't really ask for more than that). i haven't worn it with the liner yet, as it is summertime in Austin ( /- 100 degrees), but the interior breast pockets the liner provides are generous and in just the right places - especially if you like to keep your player and the wire to your headphones inside your jacket (one vertical zippered pouch right - passport size, and one horizontal velcro pouch left - bigger than any modern phone). my only two complaints are no interior pockets without the liner, and, contrary to the images of the clean black jacket shown above, each shoulder bears a large oval "X-Element" logo on the side. the stitching is not difficult to remove if you're handy (and very careful) with an x-acto knife, and i might be extreme in my desire that my bike and my wardrobe not advertise, but it isn't shown in any of the pictures (and it's plenty visible). |

| Nice Jacket. Enough airflow for warmer weather and just enough warmth for slightly chilly. The liner has worked well for me so far as it is getting colder here. Also plenty pockets in this jacket. |

| This jacket is absolutely wonderful for the spring and summer months in northeast ohio. I've worn it with the liner on 58-62 degree mornings and it's just enough to keep the chill off. Also have worn it on 87 degree days in sunlight with no liner, and it actually keeps you cooler than in a T-shirt alone. I would highly recommend the jacket to anyone who wants to stay protected even in hot weather.... but remember, definitely order 1 size bigger than normal, or it will be too small. |

| Good quality jacket with all the features of a more expensive one. I ordered this for my husband, and based on the size chart ordered the L instead of his normal M, since he fell in between at 39. He's in good shape, so while the larger size fits well in the shoulders, it's a little large around the middle. Some of this can be corrected with the velcro adjustments. The shoulders and sleeves are not all mesh, but there is enough mesh to provide a cool ride in hot weather when the liner is removed. He says it's much cooler than his other mesh and cordura jacket, and is happy with it. All in all it was a very good purchase--especially considering the price. |

| The jacket is great. The air flows right through and keeps you cool. At about 85-90 degrees I will sweat where ever there is an armor pad but you could take these out if you wanted too. I had to get a size larger than I normally would which adds a little length. All in all a super jacket for the price. I would buy it again. |

| After recently purchasing a Victory Vegas and never having been on longer rides, I didn't know what to to expect out of jackets on long rides. I do have a nice leather jacket and chaps (life savers), but I wanted something for shorter rides. After I received the Xelement jacket I was pleasantly surprised. It was exactly what I was looking for. I am on the border between large to x-large, went with the xl and I am glad, fits good with a T-shirt and there's room for more clothing. Very happy with the purchase! |

| This jacket arrived very quickly and is surprisingly well made. The pics here dont show, but it arrived with 2 small patches, one on each shoulder, but could be removed. They are grey and reflective and small, so i kept them. The jacked is VERY breatheable - imagine wearing 2-3 old school football practice jerseys when you ride. Absolutely amazing for hot summer rides. only downside - the removable lining does not provide much warmth. Understand that you are considering a summer jacket only. Otherwise you will really need to layer up. I am 6'1" 205 and wear a 44 long. the XL fits snug, but amazing. If you want more room - definatley size up. Jacket is very dark, not washed out like the photos. Incredibly comfortable, great looking, fraction of comparable cost. I am VERY happy with this website and the jacket. |

| Nice jacket and it does everything you'd expect. It has good armoring, it has good ventillation, the liner improves the warmth significantly and it has enough snaps and velcro closures to assure a good fit...but I was really glad I went a size larger than normal!
I've had this jacket for over a month of mixed Michigan Spring weather and ridden over 500 miles with it. It was cool enough with the liner out at 80 degrees (as long as you keep moving) because of the mesh construction that allows air to filter right through and it was warm enough with the liner in when the temp dropped below 45 degrees (although I found I preferred wearing a sweater or heavy shirt underneath as an additional layer.)
I think the description should mention that it comes with a fairly large "Xelement" patch on each shoulder so don't be misled by the photos.
I decided not to cut mine off because they are made of a reflective material like scotchlite and I favor visibility over esthetics.
The armor in this jacket seems substantial so I don't wear leather at all. For me this is the "all purpose" jacket since I don't ride when the weather gets too cold anyway. |

| Top quality for the price. Very nice to have the arms and side panels fully adjustable. Looks like I'll be comfortable during the upcoming summer months! I ordered a 5XL and wear a 3XL t-shirt, so a size bigger is probably a good idea, especially if you want to layer underneath. |

| Excellent jacket...Living in southwest Louisiana means most of your riding is in warm weather. This jacket has great ventilation with the liner removed. The armor is nice also. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was as another customer stated there are two large white logo patches on the shoulders. These are not in the pictures on your site. A small detail I know...but I think I'll take them off with the knife like he did. Great service and short delivery wait...will order again. Joseph, Kinder, LA. |

| Great jacket, great price. Second motorcycle jacket I have bought from LeatherUp. first one for cold weather, this one for summer. This one allows cool air to flow through and keeps me cool on these hot South Texas days. With the liner, it's great for 60 degree weather.

| This jacket is excellent for hot weather. The liner is not very useful in cool weather as it does not cover all of the mesh on the chest area. This lets in a lot of cold air. The sizing is correct. I ordered one size larger, and it is about one size large! This is an excellent warm weather jacket. |

| This is a perfect summer weight jacket! I ordered a size up from usual and it fits with some room to spare (I am between Xelement sizes on their chart). The zip out liner has been zipped out and unused as of now but it is a really nice option. The mesh breathes well and provides significant ventilation when you're rolling. When you're stopped the black color can be unfriendly heat-wise. The jacket is comfortable and the new armor really seems to flex much better than my older jackets. This is a great buy for warm weather riding and recommended. |

| Great jacket at a nice price, just what I was looking for the summer months. Enough airflow for warmer weather and the liner works great for slightly chilly weather. Snaps and zipper makes the liner easy to remove and install. Jacket wears and fits nicely. Go one size larger than normally required. This will give plenty of room when riding even when liner is installed.
I highly recommend this product for warm weather riding. |

| I have been riding with it now for a few weeks. It is a little cheap on the inside construction, but for $70 that is not a shocker. It otherwise has good protection, looks quite good overall, and works well riding in the hot Florida sun. I am a street rider, and I have a $200 Harley branded mesh jacket that has 1/3 of the protection. In close inspection, there is some difference in fit and finish, but take one step back and you will never notice.
I really wanted the protection in a good mesh, yet somewhat decent looking jacket that did not look like neon sign. (-; This jacket fit that bill very well.
It may not be the very top of the line, but all in all it is a very good value that seems quite capable of providing a good layer of protection in a fall. It has pretty much become my full time riding jacket, and I commute Miamis streets daily. I'll give this one 4 starts. |

| I've been using the jacket for a couple of weeks now. The temperatures have gotten into the high 80's. So far I've been comfortable. I believe it should be possible to wear the jacket with temperatures into the 90's. With the lining out, air moves through the mesh well enough that you can feel the breeze on your arms. |
