| I purchased the jacket about a month or two ago and figured i'd give it a while before i review. I must say that this jacket is awesome. I live in Tucson, AZ and in the morning, when i leave for work before the sun rises, its cold. There was a couple mornings this winter that were 28 degrees. but this jacket performed amazing. i shut the vents in the morning when its cold and open them when i leave work in the afternoon. The jacket is simply a great all around jacket. I wear it everyday because i ride everyday. i ride in all conditions. this jacket is nice. measure yourself and follow the chart. as long as your stomach is not bigger than your chest the chart will work for you. however, if your gut sticks out past your chest then you may want to order a size up. I'm 6' even 170lbs and 38" around the chest. and a medium fits perfect. |

| Great jacket. It was my second choice of jackets but turns out to be a pretty good second choice. The leather is top notch, and the fit is great. The vents make it a year round option when taking any ride. I pulled the armor plates for every day riding, but will put them back in when I go for a long ride. |

| I love the jacket its awesome and it fit very well i alredy roadtest in the cold weather in palmdale ca, it keeps me warm. the only a problem is the leather handle in the zipper i broke 3 already leather is weak you need adress that. |

| I received the jacket in just 3 days. The jacket is clearly beyond my expectations. I went up one size like many recommended and it was the right choice. I an 5'10" and 190 and the 44 fits great. Leather quality and texture is similar to goat skin and remains supple in the cold. Venting works and the armor is comfortable and in the right places. The jacket with liner and armor is heavy but not uncomfortable. For $120 - WOW!!! |

| I do not like to order cloathing on line, it's always send it back and try again. I read the reviews and the majority of them said to order a size up. Thanks for the information reviewers! Perfict fit. I am 6' 2' and 225lbs. The XXL is perfect. I always have trouble with coats and jackets being to short in the arms, not this one. It is roomy enough to move around in and I have no belly so the adjustible velcro side straps are great. Heavy leather and with level 3 protection, this jacket is well put togeather. I almost want to lay my HD down and take a tumble on the black top! Not really, but if I do I have great protection. Kudos to Xelement for a great product and Kudos to Leather up for the great price. |

| I am 5'9", 185 lbs with 43 inch chest. So the question is; go L or XL? For me, I should have went with the L, my normal size. I followed the advice and went one size up. Not a good idea. If you fit between the L and XL measurements, buy L. On a positive note, nice jacket. The leather was quite nice, even if it was a little big. |

| The jacket looks great, feels already broken in upon opening, and the armor is well placed. It is nice and heavy, so should have great protection should the unfortunate happen. As far as size, everyone said to order a size bigger than usual, so I ordered a large, even though I wear medium in everything. That resulted in a jacket that was far too big for me. I am 5'11' and weigh 178 lb and had to send the original jacket back and get a medium, which now fits PERFECT. I do not like my sleeves to hang past my hands or the overall fit to look like I took it from my dad's closet; I like my clothes to fit, and fit comfortably. Therefore the medium was the right choice for me. Now I am happy, but it took a lot of time to return and get a new one, so think about it before you order. If you want to look saggy and drown in the jacket, order a size up. If you want it to fit you and your body, order the size you typically order. |

| Good construction and heavy. Breathes extremely well with the vents open and appears to be able to keep ya warm in the cooler months. I have not had that experience yet but it looks like it will be fine would recommend this jacket hands down and to think i almost paid 4 times this much at the local bike shop |

| Just receaved my pistol pete jacket the other day. Fast shipping and great merchandise. The jacket is thick leather and lots of vents to keep you cool while your ridding. It is well padded in the elbows and shoulders, and seems to fit well. Iam a 40-42 and size was right on. |

| Great old school look! I love it. I am 6'5" and 280lbs. I wear a 2xl-3xl and ordered this in 4xl. It is still a tad snug but works. It is very heavy and gives you a nice warm feeling, as a good leather biker jacket should. I took the elbow pads out and opened the sleeve vents. Wore it in WI this last month. Nice warmth in cold, nice breathe in warmer (65 degrees) Great price.....nice coat, just order big! |

| I have seen many jackets like this but this one is simply the best. For the price you can not get any better. Its heavy so it keeps you warm in the cold weather and it has vents so if you wear your leather on those warmer days you can cool off. I wasn't happy about the armor in the jacket but i like knowing its there just in case. If your bigger than 44 inches in the chest go one more size up to the xl I am 6ft tall and its a little small in the shoulders for me but its still awsome! |

| Absolute fantastic jacket. Fits perfectly and I always have a difficult time finding clothes that fit. I am 6'4" 285 pounds with an muscular build and every other jacket would be too lose in the stomach area. With the help of LeatherUp I was able to find a jacket that fit perfectly. | Excellent quality. I'm 5'11'' 170 lbs. and bought a large. It's snug enough that I like it. Leather is heavy, good quality. Only thing I would change is the diameter of the cuffs, as fully zipped, I still have a little issue getting a gauntlet style glove around the sleeve. Venting is very effective. Note the zip-out lining is vest-styled, no zip-out portion going down through the sleeves. Would buy again and recommend it. |

| Thanks Leather Up I really love my jacket. It is very well made of heavy Buff leather. The removable hidden armor is a real nice addition to a great looking jacket. I followed the size chart and it fit me well. I get compliments on it almost every time I ride. The zip out liner is also a nice touch for summer riding the vents are very functional on hotter days. |

| So I got the jacket in the mail but it was too big, even though I DID use the chart. My buddy was so impressed with it, and it fits him perfectly, so he bought it from me. | Feels like it weighs about 100 pounds, but my friends tell me that all leather jackets feel like they are lead-lined. This thing is definitely windproof and warm, though. On cold, windy days on the bike, this is jacket well worth the extra weight. It is well made, except for the sticky zippers. And the pockets are plentiful and roomy. If I lost it, I'd buy another one just like it. |

| I gave this a 4 star rating for a pretty simple reason. The leather is superb, the warmth and sizing are great. The liner is warm, etc. So why didn't it get a full 5 stars? The buttons for the liner snapped off less than a week after I started wearing it, which allows the liner to move around and pinch on the underarm or overarm. I would buy this jacket again, but I would most likely get rid of the really poor liner buttons and replace them with better ones.
The vents are great for warm weather riding, and the jacket is plenty warm for cooler riding too. |

| Great jacket for the money, well constructed, and very sharp looking. This is a really heavy jacket, so it should provide good protection. The armor is a little stiff, I'm hoping it will soften up with wear. I was torn on what size I should order, as I usually fall between a medium and a large. I went with the large, and it fits pretty well. I'm 6', 175, 40 chest, and the length is good, a little baggy in the chest/stomach area, but it leaves room for a heavy shirt underneath. |

| Bought this for my husband for Christmas, and I was very impressed when it arrived!
The leather is tough but very soft, there were a lot of quality details, like the inside and outside pockets and vents that zipped up, the armor and the zip out quilted liner (easier for me to clean as opposed to trying to get the leather dry cleaned), I just slip the liner into the hand washing along with my delicates.
As for sizing, the largest size a 5x fit my husbands tummy which is about 57 inches around. But it also has an attached belt to snug in for when he looses weight.
It is a very attractive and comfortable jacket, and he loves it. Its perfect for riding around in the South in winter time, and I am happy knowing that he is as protected as I am (I got the textile womens Cleo by Joe Rocket) when we are riding our bikes.
Very high quality for an insanely low price. The best on the Internet. |

| Wow! This jacket is heavy duty! I wear a 46 coat, but ordered one size up to 2XL. Fits perfect. Very comfortable. At $120 it's a steal! Has kept me quite warm riding behind a windshield in low 30's and with the liner in. Could probably go into the mid - high 20's. This is my first leather riding jacket and I could not be happier with it. |

| Well I wrote a review the day I received this jacket but now that I have had it for a month I think it deserves a new review. The sizing was way off for me. I wear a 3X or a 2X but I have never ever worn anything bigger than a 3X. I initially ordered a 4X following the suggestions of other reviews here but that did not even come close to fitting so I exchanged it for a 5X. The exchange process was very smooth and went off without a hitch.
Now for the jacket. It is awesome!!! The leather is thick and soft, and now that I have worn it for a while it fits great and as I wear it the leather is softening and fitting to my body and it us one of the most comfortable coats I have ever worn. The quality is excellent. This is a fantastic coat and worth three times what it costs here. |
