| My wife and I both ordered the Dual Comfort System Leather Chaps. WOW what great chaps for such a low price. Size chart was true for both of us. They were a liitle long but allowed us to trim for a perfect fit. We have used them on several occassions so far and absolutley love them. The weight and look of the leather beats all the competition by far. The comfort system is a must for long rides and walks in between. Buy them!!!! You will not regret it. | I am 6'3" and weigh 235 and wear a size 38 pants. I ordered my pant size and I am in the last buckle hole. I have large thighs and the fit and design in this area is great. They are little long on me but easily cut to fit. I am extremely pleased with quality, function and looks. |

| I purchased these last Nov I think. Did not write a review. Because they are very servicable chaps. They fits, looked good but chaps. Well last sunday I just missed a deer and went down doing 70 mph. The belt buckel pulled out, but I do not have a mark on my legs and I slid a long way. I can not wear them again but the leather held up did not rub through. Great Chaps in my opinion. As soon as I have the bike fixed up and paid for I will definatly be buying another pair. |

| Very comfotable chaps at a great price. As others have mentioned, you will probably have to trim the bottoms to the proper length. I usually wear a 34-36" waist in jeans and I probably could of fit into the 32-33" size. They are a little big in waist size so you might want to order at least one size smaller other wise you will probably not get enough adjustment in the belt. I had to exchange the 36 for the 34 size and I am on the last notch in the belt. |

| These are really great Chaps, soft and very comfortable. The fit was perfect and to cut to length needed was very simple. My wife ordered the same chaps and felt they couldn't have been any better. The elastic thighs and dual comfort zipper system is the greatest. We wear them every weekend. The customer service is also outstanding as we called them numerous times with questions. | These are quality chaps. I ordered one size smaller than my normal and they fit perfect. I am usually a 36 and the 34 was perfect. I was a little worried about the thigh since I went down a size, but with the elastic insert they were not too tight and very comfortable. |

| Bought these first in the same size as my regular pants... mistake.. had them exchanged for a size larger and they fit really good... a little snug over jeans but for me I like the fit, others may want to go up 2 sizes. I am 5'11 180 lbs. with 32" inseam and 34 inch waist. They are VERY comfortable... have ridden a couple of times in upper 30's for 30+ miles and they have kept my legs warm with just a pair of jeans under them. I would rate these a 5 based on comfort and what seems like very good workmanship and durability. |

| good chaps. quality is good and they are comfortable. i never know which way to order after reading the mixed reviews on size, but as with most of my purcases from leatherup u need to order a size larger. i didn't, but i returned them and they exchanged with no hassles. i'm 6' 2" 210 pounds with above avg thigh size and i ended up needing the 38's although i usually wear a 35 in jeans. |

| Ordered one size larger and they fit a little loose. Could have easily ordered exact size and the expanding thigh and zipper would give a nice snug fit. Quality is great. I'm short and had to cut off almost to the leg zipper. These should last a very long time. |

| These chaps fit very well I used the size chart and I am very happy with them. There is adequate leg room but yet still snug enough to be comfortable on long rides The elastic in the inner thigh and the zipper on the outer thigh makes all the differece. | I've never had chaps before but these appear to be very well made. They are very comfortable and give well at the stress points of the knees and thighs. I've used them in temperatures as low as 30 degrees without any discomfort. I'm impressed! |

| I bought these chaps for my husband for Christmas. They arrived ahead of the estimated delivery date -- even in the midst of the busy holiday season. I purchased exactly his jean size rather than going up one size as recommended. The fit is perfect. He loves them. He likes the elastic inserts and the zipper closures on the back of the thighs. That allows a little bit of give and makes them very comfortable. Definitely a great buy!! |

While the weather was freezing, and many of my ffellow bikers were a bit cold, I stayed very comfortable on the run. The chaps were a lifesaver. | Really comfy. Keeps the wind off your legs, which seems to be more than half the issue with keeping your legs warm. Like other reviewers, I got one size wider in the waist. I thought I might have to cut the bottoms since my inseam is about 31" but with the snaps, it's great, kind of like in the picture. The thing that really surprised me is how fast you can get them off and folded. The quality of the leather is excellent. I am completely happy with this purchase. |

| These chaps are awesome! I have never worn them (I always thought they were cheesy), but I have decided to ride into the winter here, and I have already been comfortable in 30 degree weather. They cut the wind perfectly, and I would recommend them to anyone. One suggestion, as I am sure you have read - order them a size above what you wear, they will still be snug. Easy on and easy off, these will look and feel great! This is a great company to deal with, too - they processed my exchange within days! |

| I am truly impressed with the quality of these chaps. I have taken 3 rides since receiving them. Temperatures from the 60's to a low of about 40 and have been very comfortable. The elastic thighs are great as they snug up the chap to prevent heat loss as well as expand some for comfort. If you need more thigh room the thigh zipper will provide the extra room. I agree with previous reviewers that ordering a full size larger as recommended is the way to go. At 5'9" and 185 with a 36" waist I ordered the 38 and fit was perfect after cutting off excess length. Be careful not to cut too short. I marked mine as they rested on the top of my boot while sitting on my bike. This ensures wind is blocked from going up the leg. Great chaps, good looking, good fit, good materials. |

The workmanship quality is first class and the feel of the leather is so soft that you hardly know they are on you. | I ordered these chaps for both myself and my husband. They are great! We've only had a couple of problems- I am very tall and had to get a leather guy to add over 3" to the length. That's fine since the price was so great anyway! My husband is a big man and the thigh and knee areas are too tight, even with the elastic and zipper. We didn't want the hassle of returning the chaps and possibly having the same problem again, so, our new leather guy buddy is now altering the chaps for us. The quality of the chaps is great. I love mine! I didn't realize how comfortable chaps were and how much wind protection they provide. I'm warm even in 50 degree weather. |

| these are great chaps. thick leather, good quality, not the shiny cheap lookin stuff. the zipers and snaps are stong and easy to use. i am 6'2 and 215 lbs with a usual jean size of 38x36. i ordred the size 40 and they fit very well and didnt need to trim the legs. i am at the smallest belt hole though. probably could have got the 38s. there are 2 things i'd change about these. 1 would be pockets the single one isnt big enough for anything and you cant get to your jean pockets though them. 2nd i'd have a better bottom to fill them up! |

| Before I ordered these I looked at chaps at my local retailer. All they had were Harley chaps for $200, which didn't look nearly as good as these and lacked the features.
I was a little hesitant to order because of the "dual comfort" aspect--I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs, so I didn't think I would need the extra thigh room. However, the thighs seem to be sized a bit tight with the zipper closed to take the adjustability into account. the result is a perfect fit over slacks (zipper closed), and with jeans (zipper open).
The snaps and full zipper up the outside of the leg enables quick on and off without removing boots, and the sizing is perfect in the waist (32") and length with no cutting. They hold up well in rain and block enough wind to cut the chill when cool, but aren't too hot either. |

| I've owned at least 5 other pair of chaps. These are not only the least expensive of the lot, but they're far and away the NICEST. Great leather - no stiffness at all. Fab design too. For the first time, I don't have to start the zipper and then step in. I just unzip the rear leg zipper and have enough leeway to start the zipper just by wrapping the leather around my leg. Makes it much easier to get on and fits better (no tugging and pulling needed) !! Nice. I had to return my true size (34) because it was too large. It must fit 34-44, because it's pretty big. The 32 fits me much better - it would easily fit a 32-36 or so. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these chaps if you're in the market. OR -- you can go on eBay and buy the exact same chaps for $99. !! So much for eBay bargains. :-) |

| The waist size tends to run large. so I recommend ordering a size or two smaller than your normal waist size (i.e. 32" waist, order 30" chaps). Leather was very smooth and supple coupled with fine quality construction. Shipping, however, takes a few days longer than expected -- just csll customer service for more accurate shipping times. |

| I am 6'3" and weigh 225. I wear a 34 waist 36 length in pants. I initially ordered size 34 chaps, but they were too short and I couldn't zip them up because too tight in the thigh. I returned them per the directions and it was a quick turn around with no trouble. I ordered a size 38. I am on the tightest buckle hole and the length and thigh room fits good. |

| These are the first motorcycle chaps that I purchased. Since I have no knowledge to compare these chaps to I will explain my over thoughts on this product.
The sizing is accurate. I called and talked with Iris just to make sure. The leather seems to me to be a little lighter than I thought but for the price I can over look the weight factor of the leather.
The overall product is great. The zippers work well and snaps function well. I first thought that the combination of leg zippers and elastic would be overkill for anyone who does not have Hulk legs. However when riding the elastic makes the Chaps very comfortable.
The snaps and zippers make putting on and taking off the chaps very easy.
The only thing that I would improve upon is that the location of the belt loop. It is a little far from the buckle, being able to insert the extra end of the waist belt. It won't happen unless you can cinch up the belt very tight. I would have moved the loop closer to the belt buckle on added another one.
Bottom line... For the price I can overlook the small inconveniences. If I was going to pay the list price I would be much more critical.
So if you are looking for a pair of chaps these will do for you and you'll be happy overall. |

| So far the Xelement products have proven to be of exceptional quality for the price. I bought these and am quite happy with the quality and fit. I was a little concerned at first about the fit in the thigh. I got the 34 which is my waist size and that was dead on. My concern was that my thighs measured in at 24", but I figured that with the zippers on the back and the elastic inserts in the inner thigh, I should be ok. When I first put them on they seemed really tight. i struggled to zip them all the way, but I did it. Knowing that leather stretches, I made them as tight as can be (all zippered up) and wore them around the house for a bit. After a few time on and off, the leather did stretch to a comfortable level and with the back thigh zips open, it's a perfect fit. I didn't have to trim them as I am a tall guy @ 6'6", so right out of the box, they were the proper length.
And don't worry about the zippers on the back of the thigh because they are a little to the outside so they don't sit or rub on the saddle. Use the guide, order your waist size to match and the belt will be right in the middle and remember that new leather is always tight until you break it in. Great quality for TONS less than you will find in any dealership that wants you to pay for a logo. |

I had to cut off some length but the cool thing about these chaps is that you don't have to hem them, they look just fine after I cut them. the service was great, and I got my order a couple days later. | Good quality for the money. Seem to run fairly true to size. I am 6'5" and 225# with a fairly athletic build. I wear a 36 36 jean/pant and ordered the 36 waist in these chaps and they fit well. Word of WARNING, if your order is shipped via Fedex Home Delivery and requires a signature I hope you don't work for a living and can stay home to sign it. It took me two weeks and an address change to get mine delivered to work. Leatherup wasn't real interested in making the change until I told them I wasn't driving an hour and a half one way to pick my package up at Fedex and would just tell Fedex to send it back. |

| I've found that LeatherUp's sizes run smaller than other apparel companies sizes do. I ordered my first set of chaps, and while the waist was perfect, the legs were just too narrow. I sent them back, exchanging them for another pair of chaps that had bigger legs/thighs. These were perfect and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. LeatherUp's customer service is excellent, and I had to do the same thing with a bomber jacket. Size ran smaller than normal, so I sent it back and exchanged it for a larger one. This time it was also perfect. No hassles, no problems. LeatherUp, you have my business and a very satisfied customer. |

Very comfortable, The only other problem I had was that they forgot to do the stitching at one of the seams. I am 6'2" and 230 lbs. and wear a 36W X 38L pants and the size 38 is perfect, I don't even have to trim the length. I also ordered my wife a pair, size 14 that is one size larger than her pant size and they fit perfect. They were great when I sent them for an exchange. I just went on a 60 mile ride in 20 degree weather and the legs stayed warm. I would highly recommend these chaps for the money |

The only adjustment I made was to double over the waist extender in the back, I did this only for addition strength in the waist belt. | I ordered my correct waist size the first time and the chaps were a little too lose around the legs. I ordered the next size down and they fit like a glove. The quality is very good . I don't think you can find a better pair of chaps for the price. I have been wearing the chaps in 40 degree weather and they really keep the wind from coming through. Good deal at a great price! |

I have large upper thighs in relation to the rest of my physique and the elastic and zippers ensured I have ample room for my thighs without getting chaps that were too big for my waist. | I feel that the leather quality is above average and should last me well on the long rides out here in Utah, Idaho, and near the Four-Corners area, as well as Las Vegas (present day Sodom and Gommorah). I am 69" and trimmed about 1-1.5 inches off the bottoms so they will fit nicely on my highway pegs without riding up my leg from the wind. Soft and comfortable with durable zippers and fastnerers. Very comfortable with the ability to expand the thigh circumference. Plus, my wife gave me that little look you fellas know what I'm talking about. Bow-chika-wow-wow. Cheers. |

| These are the first pair of chaps I have owned. They are very comfortable and warm. After reading the other reviews, I ordered 1 size smaller then my waist size and they fit perfect. If you have large thighs the dual comfort system is the only way to go. I had to trim the length and a pair of sissors worked just fine. I saved the cut off, there must be something I can do with two fine pieces of leather. |

I almost bought some Harley ones for $179.00...glad I waited...and these were lined which the Harley's were not! Leather is soft and the product seems well worth the money. | This is my first pair of chaps to own. I ordered the same size as the pants i wear and they fit perfect. The elastic inner thigh streches enough that they are comfortable when I move. The zipper in the back has to stay down but I don't even know its there. I have bigger thighs and the extra material helps but it should fit anyone who wears that size anyway, just zip them up till they fit. |

| I wear a 44 or 46 waist in pants so I ordered a 46. They fit great over my blue jeans. There are 5 belt holes to pick from and some adjustment on the back of the waist so you can easily gain or lose 2 inches of room. The bottoms are easy to cut off with sissors or a razor knife. I have stubby legs (30 inch inseam) so I trimmed off 2 of the 4 snaps on bottom. I have worn my chaps twice now in 40 degree weather and they are warm and do the job. Great deal for the price. You should order some! |

The only issue I had with the chaps is the belt closure where the metal buckle "tongue" extends too far through the eyelet, leading to the possibility of scratching yourself (or someone else) but it is something that can easily be corrected on site. |

| Great chaps! I had to go with these because I have large thighs and the zipper only thigh woulg=d not fit. The dual comfort system fits me great with the elastic and zipper. I went with my normal pant size and they fit great. The zipper on the back sits about 3-4" below my seat, so I don't have to woory about ripping my seat. Glad I bought these over the more expensive ones. A friend of mine has HD chaps and the leather in these are thicker and I think the quality is better. |

| 5 stars! I will immediately admit that these are the first chaps I've ever worn. For the previous 15 years or more, as far as pants go I was riding with only jeans, and insulated coveralls for the cold (I learned by hard knocks to ALWAYS wear a full face helmet and a purpose-built jacket). If I could do it all again I would get these chaps the same day I bought my first bike. Because of the low price of the chaps, I was prepared for them to be "beginner" chaps, maybe with structural defects, or mediocre leather... I could not be happier to be wrong. They are built like a tank, but super comfortable and supple. The leather feels twice as thick as I expected, they're uniform in texture and color, and make the entire ride so much more enjoyable (from a guy who rides in even 40 degree weather). I wear baggy jeans, and bought the same size as my normal jeans size (I could easily fit in a 32 but prefer a 34, so I bought 34 chaps). When first putting the chaps on I thought maybe I should have gone up one size, but after just one day the chaps had stretched in all the right places and fit like a glove. I'm 5'10" and the length hits my boot heal just like in the photo, no trimming needed and I could have been several inches taller without a problem. They go on and come off in less than 5 or 10 seconds. The zipper on the back of the thigh does not hit my seat or cause any problem at all. When walking around with the chaps on, unzipping the thigh is fantastic. The first day I wore them was 85 to 90 degrees, and as long as we were moving I never felt hot even after 6 hours or so. And now I've worm them at 45 or 50 degrees with no other insulation and felt great. My only complaint (if you could call it that) is that the pocket is so small nothing will fit in it other than the bike key... personally I'd like to see a bigger pocket with a closure, but that's no big deal. Bottom line, I would recommend these to anyone and everyone. My grandmother(!) was a biker, and she correctly stated there are only two kinds of bikers... those who have crashed and those who are going to. You're GOING to crash, even if it's just a low-side slide... so GET SOMETHING TO PROTECT YOUR HIDE! These are a great product. |

| As advertised the chaps were as expected. They fit a little small until broken in but fit fine now. I would go one size bigger in the waste the next time though. The quality is great and I am very satisfied. |
