| For the price I was expecting a cheaper quality leather. Excellent product. I will be ordering again soon. Don't be scared off that you have to trim to length. It was eazy and hasn't frayed at all so there is no need to hem them. |

| Nice quality. My husband usually wears a 36" pants and I ordered him a 40"based on the reviews and length (he is 6'4) The waist is a bit big, but the legs and length are great. The back has adjustable straps so that you can take them in about an inch by lining up the hole on top of each other. |

| I received them in less than a week and these things are high quality. They are fully lined to keep me warm on these upcoming chilly fall and winter rides. I typically wear a 34-36 waist and a 30-32 inseam. I ordered the 38 inch waist and it is a perfect fit, as they run small. | I have to admit that I haven't ridden with the chaps on yet but my first impression is very good. The leather is much more supple than I expected and the fit is good. You definitely want to go by the thigh measurement and if it's close, go one size bigger. That's what I had to do and the fit seems just right.

Ordered one size larger as suggested. Adjusted the waist band, cut a few inches off the bottom and was using them the same day I got them.
Delivery was sketchy, but was the problem of Fedex, not LeatherUp.

| First I want to say that Leather Up is the best site for leather on the net. I have purchased several items and have not been disappointed. I'm 6'3 and 230lbs and the 38 fit perfect. I was worried about the length at first. When I got them all I had to do was put them on and hit the road. I have rode in 30 and 40 degree temps and they worked great. I get alot of complements and stares. Everone thinks I paid over 100 dollars. They can't believe what I paid. The shipping was fast and the quallity is great. The weight of the leather is good. The only problem I have had is getting the zipper stuck on the lining when removing the chaps. I would recommend these chaps to anyone. |

| Wonderful chaps - does a very good job in bad weather riding. Pay great attention to the size chart, however and measure your thigh before ordering. I messed it up first try. My waist is 42, but I had to exchange for a 46 to get the correct leg diameter size. The belt buckle is a little lightweight, but I would still definitely order again. I like the zipper configuration with the snaps at the bottom of the leg. |

They are very well made with quality leather, sturdy stitching, heavy duty zippers and the slver buckles and grommets at the bottom add just the right amount of style. Only 1 word of warning, if you have rally thick thighs you may want to go up a size, my waist is a 32 and I orderd a 32 and they fit me just right. I like the length but had to trim them as I normally have a 30in inseam, and these seem to have come with about a 34 inch inseam. They are an excellent buy and I'm glad I didn't have to pay an arm and leg. They were delivered as promised on time. |

| The chaps are great and make riding in cool weather a lot more comfortable. I did however have to do much alteration to get them to fit correctly. First, of course, was to trim the length; that was simple enough. Next however I had to purchase some basic leather working tools, namely small rivets and a tool to punch holes in the leather with. Also, small tool to install the rivets - about $20 worth of stuff in total.
To keep the crouch area from being pulled too far apart, I cut the belt in front & shortened it using the rivets. Next, I ignored the hole eyelets in the rear and shortened it as well and simply eliminated the adjustment eyelets. It looks and fits great now and I really like the chaps. I don't know if doing that much to them is unusual or not. I'm pretty handy when it comes to figuring out things like this so it was no big deal. But, not everyone is like that; so, take that into consideration. Oh the other hand they may fit your body just great. I do have a long waist and not very muscular thighs and I knew I would likely have to do some alterations. I did order a size that I "thought" would be very loose in the thighs - they are not loose, however, but they are quite comfortable. Considering the inexpensive cost of the chaps, I did not consider it unwarranted to purchase the leather punch and rivet tool. I will have them for future projects now. Can't beat them for the price.
One more thing: when riding in cool weather the crouch area is not protected, obviously. For that reason I will eventually buy a regular pair of leather pants to ride with in really cool weather.
One more, one-more-thing: the chaps do roll up nicely and are not difficult to store in your saddle bags. |

| The quality of the leather and the workmanship is fantastic. The fit is great, though a little tight in the thighs. This is most likely due to the fact that I have very muscular legs. I work evenings and the ride home afterwards is usually chilly and these really make a difference. Add to this the price and you have an unbeatable combination. | Only worn them a couple of times so far, but think they are great for the money. Wore them up and down the Ocoee River basin in about 40 degree weather with only jeans underneath and they performed well keeping the wind and chill down. They are snug aroung the thighs and I will have to add a notch or two to the waistbelt to tighten them up, no problem. Did not have to cut the length though, fall perfect on my boots. |

| Chaps are great ordered a size 48 but had to go down a size 46 because of how I wear them. They are made well out of heavy to med-eavy cow hide , 1/2 lined to the knee.. With the 48 I was going to have to cut them, but with the 46 they are just right in the lenght. Went out on 9/24/08 to New York State starting time 7AM temp 38F. Stayed comfortabled for the 40 mile trip crusing at 55 mph. |

| Great chaps, ordered two pair one for my husband who is 6'6" and one for me who is 5'2" and they both fit us great. Easy to cut off and make comfortable. I had to order a little larger for the thigh circumfrance and then the waste was way to big so I had to take them in to get another set of wholes put in for the tightening in the back but was worth the price. Very comfortable and moveable. We are both very happy. |

Are a little large in the waist but perfect around calf but thats OK Cant wait to try them should make a big difference on those early cool days.
