Jerry K. from BLOUNTVILLE, TN:
These pants are excellent for the money. I can wear a pair of shorts underneath to stay cool. BE SURE to order at least a size larger, I wear 33 waist so I ordered 36 because of other reviews and they fit perfectly.

Order a larger size. Armour isn't a good fit to knees and seems out of whack. For the price though well put together and would buy again.

Daniel B. from GAITHERSBURG, MD:
For the price, I like the feel of it. I wear size 32 pants but this pants is tight around the hips and waist. My biggest dissatisfaction is the location of the knee pad. The knee pad rotates toward the inside of my knees and leave the outside of my knees unprotected. I keep trying to push it to the outside where I need more of the pad but it seems to like to hang around the gas tank. For this reason I won't give it a 5/5.

Jie from SPRINGFIELD, OH:
These things are on the wow side of being small. I think they measured em with a numberless tape. I wear a 34 and ordered a 34. I couldn't even get them zipped all the way and in no way could i even get the buttons snapped. I sent them back for a 36 and even they were tight at the waist. I could get those buttoned but i had to suck my belly in to do it. I highly recommend ordering 2 sizes over your actual size. I gained 5 lbs over this winter as usual and now I can't even get the pants zippered. The material is great and the features make these well worth the $59.95. They just have a blind man sewing the waists apparently.

Robert C. from ROGERS, AR:
The pants are good quality. Their sizing is way off and the inseam is closer to 35 than 32. Not a bad deal and even though they have a slightly long inseam when I sit with them the armour pulls up to my knees on my bike. Not happy but I am not upset either, so most people would probably be I overjoyed at the cost quality break point on these. Just order large. I wear a 33 inch waist and the 36 will barely go on over pants and a belt.

Stanley D. B. from Austin, TX:
Total miss of the mark on sizing on these. I wear a 32/34 and am actually a 33 when odd numbered sizes are available. After reading the reviews I decided to order a 36 because I wanted to put them on over jeans for longer rides. I figured I would just use the Velcro, etc. to tighten them up. WOW, they are tight out of the box! Tight! I can get them over jeans but the waist is a true 33/34 on the smallish side. The legs and length are good but the bottom Velcro wont close as tight around the boot as I would like. I will have the bottoms sewn or pinned to boot fit. They seem durable and for the price I don't mind these modifications, but in the waist I would have needed a 38/40 (which I would never order just for ego reasons). Then I would be concerned about the length. All in all ok and will need some minor modifications

Allen M. from BRICK, NJ:
This is my second set of these pants .... Best bang for the buck. I got 2 1/2 years out of my last pair. That's 28500 miles for me. I ride to work every day 50 miles round trip plus fun rides (some long). The only thing I don't ride in is ice and/or snow. I have ridden my 1/2 hour commute each way in so far the coldest 20 Degrees F. Properly layered underneath and I'm fine. After the miles I put on them these are priced right to just buy another pair. The first pair it was the zipper pulls that fell apart and I've has to sew the crotch up a few times. They still looked good and they wash well. Othhat. er than tCant beat these pants.

David P. from PORTAGEVILLE, MO:
I have been wearing these pants for a few weeks now. They are made well of durable material. I bought them 2 sizes bigger to fit over jeans, I could have gone only one size larger. The Velcro closure on the legs is ok, but would be better if it was wider. Interstate speeds tend to cause the narrow strips to slip a little, never had them come apart, just slip some. Would be nice if they had an attached Velcro strap around the calf to keep them from flopping around in the wind. They are heat resistant, but I have melted a hole in the right leg, while getting off the bike I accidentally let my leg lay on the exhaust for a second and the heat resistant patch did melt 2 small holes. Overall quality is good, the hole was my fault.

Well that's what I get for ordering the same size as my jeans. Fit not even close, but so impressed with the quality of the item that I'm exchanging for the right size, about 2 sizes bigger so I can adjust down with the waist straps. My only hope is that they are not too long as I usually wear about a 30" inseam. I can get away with 32" but that's max. I'd like the knee armor to line up with my knees too : )

I didn't find the size that much off. I am a 38/34, bought the 38 and it fits fine. What I did find was (1) they stick to your butt and are sweaty when you spend a couple of hours or more in the saddle and They have no hip pads. Having had to lay a bike down before I advise spending more $, skin is hard to replace and the pain is nasty.

Great quality and value at these prices, material is best suited for cooler weather and rain. Knee pads are slightly below knee even riding motorcycle, but not a huge problem. I suggest ordering one size larger than you normally wear.

Daniel M. from MEDFORD, OR:
These pants seem to offer a great deal of protection and quality for the price. Forget the sizing chart...it's so far off that it's past being laughable. I wear 36w / 30L jeans and they are quite roomy for me (must cinch up my belt good to hold them up). I'm about 5'10" and 195 Lbs. I ordered the 36/32 pants thinking they should fit about right. NOT! I can get them snapped by drawing in my paunch, but it would be impossible to wear them over anything. The problem with ordering a larger waist (and the reason I didn't) was that you then get longer legs and I knew the already-kinda-low knee armour would have been too far down. Fortunately the fastening system is very sturdy and although the fit is snug, I don't find it to be uncomfortable. The design is really for someone taller and slimmer in general than I am...but after trying on several brands at the local Honda dealer I can see that is the trend. The pants seem to be well made and I expect to get good service from them. All zippers and fastening apparatus work perfectly, althought the mesh lining in the legs tends to create a real pain in the tush as you put the pants on and off. IMHO: Excellent Value and a quality product.

Emlyn A. from BOSSIER CITY, LA:
Great product. Yes, go up a size or two especially if you plan on wearing these over other pants. Very stylish and priced right compared to other "adventure" looking gear. I was concerned about the 32" inseam but I am 6'2 and they are perfect length. Rode in some mid-40 temps and over some jeans, these pants were not too bad for sealing out the cold wind. My guess is that they will be quite warm in summer temps though. However, I would buy again and definitely recommend to others.

Joel A. from SAINT CLOUD, MN:
Nice pants for the price. I don't think you can beat the value. I usually wear something between a 30-32 waist and a 34 inseam. I ordered the 34 and they are a little roomier than they would need to be, but with the adjustable waist they should work fine. I probably should have gone with the 32. The length feels just about perfect for me. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they feel like they will shed wind and some water pretty well!

Gabriel P. from RIDGECREST, CA:
Wacky sized. Many reviews said order large if you intend to use them as overpants. The pair I received were gigantic and could go over other overpants that were covering your work clothes. Shipped back at my expense, I received at no further cost a size 40. I prefer a 38 but the waste would have been small even though the velcro waste straps have quite a bit of leeway. They're a tad long but ok. (6'-1", 230#). Worn once on a 110F day. They rode ok, but they aren't the mesh summer pants I hoped for. Got into some rain and they were fairly resistant. The price was right and they'll get me by until I find some better mesh pants. They'll be excellent through the cooler months.

Vadim B. from Cleveland, OH:
As many others have mentioned, the sizing is very odd. I ordered 2 sized up as was suggested. Now, the length is right on, but the waist is huge, as expected. The only annoying thing about that is the kneepads are protecting the ankles, not the knees. Love the zippered vent pockets on the front, really nice on a hot summer day. Would give 5 stars if the sizing was more realistic.

Love the pants but the cut is SMALL!. Ordered a size 36 for my son whose waist is 34-36 and a 40 for me (waist size 38-40). The 40's fit him. I sent the 36s back with a request for a change to 44s. In other words my size fit him and the 44s will (hopefully) fit me. Order EXTRA BIG!!!

I wasn't expecting very much for that price and boy was I surprised...Not only did the package arrive in about 36 hours (to Canada!), the quality of the product really surprised me...I am a 35 waist, 175 llbs with a 30-31 in seam. I wanted to wear the pants over jeans so I did as other folks suggested and ordered 2 sizes up (38)- if you don't want to wear over pants I'd say go one size up. These pants fit really well and I particularly like the two waist velcro straps that allow you to cinch your waist to a good custom fit..I haven't tried it in rain but the unit has a long front vent zipper and two vents at the back behind the knee...the only way you could improve the unit in my view would be to include hip armour, but hey, at this price who is complaining. Well done guys!

Just went riding in 38 degree weather with these babies...wow, nice! Feel great and make you feel confident. I bought a full 2 sizes bigger (34 up to 38) so I could wear jeans under. Glad I did. Thank you previous reviewers!! They fit snug, but still comfortable, so think summer riding with just shorts will be nice as well. The price and free shipping can't be beat anywhere!! Great value for the buck! You won't be disappointed.

Just got the pants today, unfortunately bike is in the shop for a tune up. The waist fits ok, though I should have gotten them 1 size smaller (I got them 2 sizes up to wear over other pants), but the adjusters work well enough. The problem is with the legs. They are more like a 34 or 36 in inseam instead of a 32. I wear a 32 in inseam (I'm 5"11) normally and these are dragging the ground and the armor in the knees is WAY off. Even if I pull the waist up over my belly like "Urkel" the armor is covering my shin and not my knees. And there is no way to alter the pants or adjust the armor. Good pants, but at least for me, the knee armor is going to be useless.

these pants will do the job. I ordered one size larger than usual and they fit in the waste just right. the legs are just a tad too long, but that's OK. my legs stayed warm enough on a test drive in mid 30's degree temps. I have wondered if there should be some armor on the hips?

Unfortunately the fly zipper broke after wearing just a few times. The entire metal zipper apparatus came off. In trying to repair it, it totally fell apart. I tried calling customer service but it was more than 30 days (not much) and they didn't want to stand behind it. Very disappointing. I like the pants a lot - but I can't rate them better with the lack of quality in the zipper.

Mark from BROOMFIELD, CO:
So far so good. These fit me well (ordered one size larger to allow for street clothes and/or winter insulation) and are long enough (I'm 6'2"), and the vents are awesome for hot weather. Haven't tested the water-proofness yet, but when I spot-washed a couple of places I couldn't detect any moisture on the inside, so the fabric itself is waterproof. Took them on an 1,100 mile trip a week after getting them and had conditions from night riding 150 miles in 43 degrees (with sweats underneath) to sunny in the high 80s for 8 hours, and am impressed with the temperature range. They are extremely comfortable, much more so than either of my Tour Masters. My one gripe is that the lower legs are too billowy and there's nothing to cinch them up or keep the knee armor in place. I'll probably be adding some Velcro straps to fix that problem. CAN NOT BEAT THESE FOR ANYTHING LIKE THE PRICE!!! Very pleased with my purchase.

I returned these because they were too hot and not a good fit. The waist was the right size, but everything else about them were too big. The bottom of the legs were so big and floppy that I was seriously worried that they would get caught up in the sprocket. These would be great in colder climates and if you are the right size.

Fantastic pants, great fit, very functional. Havent tested in heavy weather yet, but in terms of design and usability they are great. Pocket positioning, and flexible sections on knees and waist mean you dont get that pulling down effect when hopping on your machine, or doing your boots up.

These are really neat material; however 1- Knee pads are very low, if you actually have a low inseam the knee-pads will be somewhere at your shins when riding. 2- Sizing, only comes in a generic 'long' (about 35" length I would guess.), and the material is hard to hem up (even most non-specialized taylor shops can't do high denier nylon) 3- Waist sizing: don't listen to people who say this article is sized small. It is sized accurately to slightly loose. Measure your waist (with other clothes on if you want to wear over clothes) and order for that size, don't just default from what your normal pant size is.

I am 6 foot 3 and weigh 205 pounds. I usually wear a 34 or 36x34 pant. I bought a size 40 so I could wear them over jeans as suggested by other reviews. I could have gone with size 38 but the waist adjustment works fine. I was a little nervous about the 32 inch inseam but they are plenty long. They are silghtly baggy but very comfortable and they don't flap around at 60 MPH. I wish they had some padding in the hips, otherwise a great summer weight riding pant.

Just got and haven't worn yet. The bad: The legs are a lot bigger at the bottom then I expected even when closed as small as they'll go. Might get caught on a foot peg when you go to put a foot down. In seam seems a bit longer then 32" good if you are taller. The good: Are light weight and the zippers on the legs for the vents look to be water proof. Do order at least one size up if you plan on wearing anything under them. Overall quality seems pretty good for the price.
